Your Privacy Matters

Anakrino ("the App", "we", "our") is a Bible reading, study, group and presentation app for iPhone, iPad, Mac, Android and Windows. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices about it.

By using Anakrino, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please stop using the App.

We collect only what the App's features need:

• Account information — your name, email address and a user ID. You can sign in with email and password, Sign in with Apple or Google Sign-In. With Sign in with Apple you may choose to hide your email; we then receive Apple's private relay address.
• Your content — notes, highlights, favorites, saved words, presentation schedules, and questions you send to the Q&A inbox.
• Reading and study activity — reading streaks, recently viewed verses, search history, word-study history and presentation history, so they follow you across devices.
• Group data — groups you create or join, your membership, reading progress, shared notes and your answers to group quizzes. Other members of a group can see what you share in it.
• Live presentation sessions — when you choose Go Live, the verse on screen, your presentation settings, timer and stage messages are shared with devices that join using your code. The session is deleted when you end it.
• Crash reports — if the App crashes, a report with technical details (device model, operating system version, app version and where the error happened) is sent so we can fix it.
• Settings on your device — language, font and display preferences are stored only on your device.

• To create and secure your account and sync your content across your devices.
• To run group features: joining, sharing, reading plans, progress and quizzes.
• To connect your devices in a live presentation (remote control and stage display).
• To answer questions you send us.
• To find and fix crashes and improve the App.

We do not sell your data, show advertising, or use your data for profiling or any purpose other than providing the App.

Your data is stored with Google Firebase (Authentication and Cloud Firestore), on Google's cloud infrastructure. It is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest, and access rules ensure only you — and, for group content, the members of that group — can read it.

Bible texts, lexicons and commentaries are bundled with the App or downloaded for reading; your reading itself is not sent anywhere except the activity listed above.

Anakrino uses these services, each with its own privacy policy:

• Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore and Crashlytics — sign-in, data storage and crash reports (Google LLC).
• Sign in with Apple — optional sign-in (Apple Inc.).
• Google Sign-In — optional sign-in (Google LLC).
• Google Fonts — typefaces used in the App.

We keep your data while your account is active. Recently viewed verses and search history are cleared automatically after about 10 days, and a group that none of its members has used for 30 days is deleted automatically.

You can delete your account at any time in the App (Menu (⋯) > Account > Delete Account). This permanently deletes your profile and the content and activity linked to it — notes, highlights, favorites, saved words, schedules, histories, reading streaks, questions, group progress and quiz answers — and removes you from your groups. Groups you created are deleted. If you signed in with Apple, we also revoke the App's access to your Apple ID.

Anakrino is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with their information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

CC BY-SA 4.0 applies to IRV Bible translations bundled in this App.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
