Your Privacy Matters

Anakrino ("the App", "we", "our") is a Bible reading and group notes application built for personal and community use. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.

By using Anakrino, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the App.

We collect only the information necessary to provide the App's features:

• Account information — email address and display name, used for sign-in via Firebase Authentication.
• Notes & reading data — notes you create and Bible verses you save, stored securely in your account.
• Group data — group names, membership, and shared notes if you participate in group features.
• App preferences — selected Bible language and font settings, stored locally on your device.

• To authenticate your account and sync your notes across devices.
• To enable group features (creating, joining, and sharing notes in groups).
• To remember your language and display preferences.
• To improve the App's functionality and user experience.

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any commercial purposes beyond providing the App's features.

Your data is stored using Google Firebase (Firestore & Authentication), which is hosted on Google's secure cloud infrastructure. Firebase employs industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest.

Bible content is bundled locally within the App and is never uploaded to any server.

Anakrino uses the following third-party services:

• Firebase Authentication — for secure sign-in (Google LLC, USA).
• Cloud Firestore — for cloud data storage (Google LLC, USA).
• Google Fonts — for typography rendering.

Each service has its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review Firebase's Privacy Policy for details on how Google handles data.

Your account data is retained for as long as you maintain an active account. You can delete your account and all associated data instantly at any time directly within the App (Settings > Delete Account). This will permanently delete your user profile, saved notes, and reading progress from our database.

Anakrino is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with their information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

CC BY-SA 4.0 applies to IRV Bible translations bundled in this App.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
